It all started after one of my early High Vibe Cooking workshops, when someone asked, “What’s one thing I can do right now to enjoy salad more?” My answer: Make your own dressing. It’s the easiest way to transform the ordinary into something crave-worthy. This vinaigrette not only bursts with flavor—it’s packed with immune-boosting ingredients that support your wellness and keep your meals exciting.
🥗 The beauty of this dressing is that it’s a base recipe with endless colorful upgrades. At its heart, it’s a simple vinaigrette:
· 1 part vinegar or citrus juice
· 3 parts extra virgin olive oil
· A touch of mustard for creaminess
· Salt, pepper, and optional fresh garlic
From there, you can swirl in a variety of hues:
· Orange: Fresh grated carrot or turmeric
· Red/Pink: Beet juice or raspberry vinegar
· Green: Fresh herbs like parsley, basil, or cilantro
· Yellow: Lemon zest or a pinch of curry
